modlogiq builds the largest off-site modular hospital in north America, Athens medical campus, Ohio
Updated: Dec 3, 2024
The largest off-site modular hospital in North America, Memorial Health System - Athens Medical Campus, Athens, Ohio, was constructed using modular, prefabricated modules. This innovative approach to building healthcare facilities has redefined the speed and efficiency of hospital construction. Completed in 2024, the hospital was developed as part of a collaboration between NAC, MIND and MODLOGIQ, Inc., leveraging advanced modular technology to meet the growing demand for healthcare services. The hospital comprises pre-assembled modules that were manufactured off-site, then transported and assembled at the location, significantly reducing construction time and costs while ensuring high-quality standards. The success of this modular hospital demonstrates how off-site construction can be a viable solution to rapidly expanding healthcare infrastructure, especially in times of crisis, without compromising on patient care or operational efficiency.
