LOPEZ PLAYGROUND Comfort Station Wins AIANY Architectural Award

New Holland, PA - January 23, 2026 – MODLOGIQ, a leader in off-site construction of permanent modular buildings, is proud to announce that the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIANY) has named one of our projects—the Luis Lopez Playground Comfort Station—as a winner in its Government category. The project was designed by 1100 Architect, fabricated in our New Holland, PA facility, and installed on Staten Island, NYC by long-time partner Axis Construction.

The comfort station restroom is a pilot project to employ modular construction as a faster, more cost-efficient delivery method for NYC Parks and part of a wider program that includes creating a replicable delivery system for future modular facilities. The design and execution of the Lopez Playground Modular Comfort Station were based on the current NYC Parks Standard Public Restroom Design for conventionally constructed public restrooms, ensuring that it met the stringent quality, health and safety standards for New York City.
