Duties & Responsibilities / Requirements

Staff Accountant is responsible for project accounting, payroll, and month-end close reconciliations. 


  • Project-specific Accounts Payable

  • Project-specific Accounts Receivable

  • Project reporting

  • Daily Cash Reporting

  • Payroll

EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting

  • BS/BA in Accounting

  • Background in Construction Accounting preferred

  • Financial and analytical skill with P&L

  • Must be able to read, comprehend, understand, interpret, and evaluate financial statements

  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance

  • Mathematics to solve problems pertaining to financial and accounting principles

  • Decipher the terms and conditions of a contract and/or purchase order to protect the Company’s interests

  • Demonstrate sound business judgment

  • PC proficiency in a Windows® environment and other trained software applications

  • Second language is an added benefit

  • US citizen with valid driver’s license and capable of overnight travel to destinations within the USA and abroad
