A Day in the Life of a Module Install. Brief video shows the installation of a 20-ton module — one of the 200+ modules that comprise Athens Medical Campus — the largest permanent healthcare facility in North America built using off-site construction.

Installation process began Monday, October 16, 2023 in Athens, OH. The process got off to a fast, smooth start with the installation of the 2-story Pedestrian Bridge that links the site-built parking garage to the modular main building. Installation has continued to go seamlessly since.

On Thursday, October 19, 2023, executives and board members of Memorial Health System and other VIPs attended a viewing event to see for themselves the intricate logistical orchestration that goes into moving the 20-ton modules — finished up to a 85% completion level or higher — from a nearby staging site and setting them precisely on the foundation piers at the job site.
