Healthcare construction professionals from around the country attended our Open House to see the Beth Israel - Milton Emergency Department project at our New Holland, PA plant. Based on their feedback, seeing the actual project in person might be worth a 1,000 pictures!
Nick Jacobs, FACHE, Senior Partner with Senior Management Resources: “This Emergency Department project is phenomenal! The building details and way it’s put together as a modular building is very impressive. We hope to build two ED’s with you!”
Stephen Gordon, MD; CEO, CMO Gordon Healthcare Technologies: "I am so impressed with the workmanship of MODLOGIQ's modular buildings and off-site construction process. It has far exceeded my expectations!"
The 7,525 square foot Emergency Department expansion for Beth Israel - Milton (MA) is comprised of 20 modules and delivers 20+ Patient/Treatment/Isolation/Decontamination rooms, two Nurses Stations, restrooms, staff changing room with lockers, ambulance vestibule, and more.
Open House guests toured the fully assembled ER—which is being finished to a more than 85% completion level, including head walls with medical gasses—inside MODLOGIQ's controlled-environment plant.
"Some attendees came from as far away as Las Vegas to see this project," says Stacy Tanner, VP of Business Development at MODLOGIQ. "And even though we've been talking with many of them for quite a while and sharing photos and videos of past projects, every single person had the same comment: 'I didn't realize the level of quality and finish I'd see until I came here.'"
The Milton ER expansion is scheduled to start disassembly at the end of the month, with transport and installation scheduled for the beginning of the year. By using SMART OFF-SITE CONSTRUCTION from MODLOGIQ, Beth Israel will be able to open their ER expansion months sooner than would have been possible with conventional, site-built construction.
What's more, operations at the existing ER in Milton, MA have experienced minimal construction noise, dirt, safety hazards, and disruption, because the vast majority of construction activity has been taking place in New Holland, PA—hundreds of miles away from the busy hospital campus.
